COURSE OVERVIEW |

  • Enable students to develop a high-quality portfolio that best reflects their abilities and professional goals

  • Provide students with the knowledge they need to be at the forefront of their profession and the confidence to gain successful employment.

  • Encourage students to develop their own progressive and potentially market~leading creative practice and industry exposure.

  • Enhance students’ core design skills, digital literacies and competencies, presentation skills and knowledge of the entrepreneurial and professional practice.

  • Further extend student's range of specialist skills in graphic design and visual communication to pursue creative problem-solving projects.

  • Enable students to develop an individual graphic design style and working methodology to and above the standard required by industry and postgraduate study.

  • Provide an opportunity for students to understand and develop professional practices through engagement with a wide~range of learning activities

  • Develop a portfolio of creative works that is confident in both its design and positioning to enable employability.

  • Enhance and refine personal approaches to reflective and professional design practice.
