Conversion drawing interest to commercial skills
Many designers are artists and many artists are designers.
Many people get confuse with the two terms - design + art. First, Designers are not Artists and Artists are not Designers. It is actually very hard to differentiate the two roles as they are both creating an object / output with aesthetic criteria.
The question is "What is the difference between a designer and an artist?" If any possible difference does exist, it could possibly be argued that there is a responsibility difference.
The best answer to the above question is how an artist is a person who expresses themselves through creative mediums; a designer that designs because they need to fulfill a commercial needs.
